Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country singer and songwriter. The album Satisfied came out in 2007. She was a part of the Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert as well as Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) follows her previous album. Ashley Monroe performing Blake SheltonIn 2014, Monroe dropped her album The Blade. The album was a huge achievement and received praise from the singer-songwriter. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for more than 15 years. She was five of those years as deputy city manager in Iowa City. Her current responsibilities as the Assistant Village Manager are to oversee the operation of the Community Development and Building Department in coordinating grant applications and working on special projects. Ashley is responsible for managing the operations and activities of Riverside Village and also for implementing the strategy and vision for elected officers. Ashley's prior roles include municipal planning, communications for government, budgeting, personnel management as well as collective negotiations. She also focused on the climate change issue. Ashley's participation in National organizations and work with communities of varying demographics has allowed her to gain insights into the various differences and similarities in the way different public institutions operate.
